MARIA FERNANDA YEPES LEON

I am a bilingual professional with a degree in Foreign Languages and over three years of experience as an English teacher. I focus on language use, communication strategies, and helping students express themselves clearly and naturally.

Through Remote English teacher Smart Academy (December 2025 - June 2026), I strengthened my flexibilitytime management, stress and stress management, and active listening. Classes and topics were often assigned just minutes before the lesson began, so I built strong adaptability and a solid understanding of English grammar.

I also have experience in customer service as a call center agent, which strengthened my communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. At Oxford Centre Institute (October 2023 - December 2025), I taught English from Elementary to Upper-Intermediate, working mainly with adults and teenagers (ages 11–17).

To support inclusive and engaging learning, I completed a Diploma course in Inclusive education (Universidad del Tolima - 2024) and worked as a COACH in an immersion camp (September 2024, 2 weeks). I enjoy project-based teaching that uses artistic activities to promote self-awareness and viewing foreign language as a tool.
