What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an LVT supervisory/management role where I can lead clinical teams, ensure strict protocols and safety, and drive training, performance evaluations, and high-quality shelter medicine operations.

I’m a NYS Licensed Veterinary Technician with 30 years of experience across private practice, shelter medicine, and medical staff management. I’m used to running high-volume, high-stakes clinics while keeping patient care, safety, and protocols non-negotiable.

As a Medical Staff Manager with ASPCA stationary and mobile spay/neuter teams, I supervised and coached teams of Licensed Veterinary Technicians and Senior Veterinary Assistants, built staff schedules, and wrote and delivered annual performance evaluations. I also served as a liaison between clinical staff and management, conducted interviews and hiring, and delivered disciplinary action and follow-up coaching when needed.

I’ve strengthened operations end-to-end—ensuring controlled-substance handling, monitoring drug logs for accuracy and completeness, developing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures, and training LVTs and SVAs with clear timelines and materials. I also directly supported start-up of three stationary spay/neuter clinics and deployed with Field Investigations and Response for disaster response at a temporary shelter.
