Marcello Barreto
@marcellobarreto
I lead carrier-grade network, telecom infrastructure, and data center modernization initiatives.
What I'm looking for
At NLT Telecom, I lead network engineering and have delivered virtual machine migrations to a new data center hub, expanded capacity through enterprise server procurement, and modernized perimeter security by migrating from Cisco ASA to Fortinet FortiGate.
I've spent more than 20 years across carrier-grade networks, Linux operations, routing, security, and telecom signaling. My work includes resolving critical SS7, STP, and HSS failures, structuring IPv4 blocks and ASN registration with LACNIC and IPv4.Global, and maintaining continuity for voice and data services.
Previously, I built NOC monitoring and incident-response processes at JET +TV+Internet, supported multi-vendor infrastructure at Claro Brasil, and managed software development and provisioning automation for ISPs at Veezor.
