María Laura Rolandi
@maralaurarolandi
Analytical chemist, researcher and AI trainer with expertise in scientific data analysis, higher education and laboratory operations.
What I'm looking for
I'm an analytical chemist, researcher, university professor, and AI trainer with more than 20 years of experience in analytical chemistry, laboratory sciences, higher education, and scientific data analysis. I combine scientific expertise with evidence-based decision making to solve complex technical and educational challenges.
My work includes laboratory operations, chemometrics, environmental research, curriculum development, learning analytics, and AI-assisted education. I have contributed to AI training and evaluation projects requiring scientific accuracy, chemistry expertise, analytical reasoning, and high-quality data annotation.
I designed and evaluated SOLVIXA, a GPT-based virtual tutor for Analytical Chemistry that achieved 70% student adoption and 95% student satisfaction, remains in active use, and received the Best Analytical Chemistry Education Award at CAQA 2025.
I am currently completing a PhD in Chemometrics and Environmental Science, a Master's degree in Higher Education focused on Artificial Intelligence, professional training in Project Management, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training. These experiences have strengthened my expertise in scientific operations, research support, cross-functional collaboration, and AI-driven scientific workflows.
I'm seeking remote opportunities in scientific consulting, AI training and evaluation, laboratory operations, research support, data analysis, clinical research, and STEM education where I can apply rigorous scientific thinking, strong analytical skills, and a continuous learning mindset to solve complex real-world problems.
