I've supported OMV Yemen's accounting operations since 2008, progressing from Senior Accounts Payable Accountant to SAP Senior GL Accountant and, currently, Accounting Agent under a remote consultancy contract with WTS.

For OMV Yemen, I manage treasury activities, general ledger accounts, monthly and yearly closing, intercompany charges, and reconciliations. I analyze balance-sheet and P&L accounts, prepare journal entries for accruals and variances, and reconcile payables, receivables, and bank-clearing accounts.

I was heavily involved in SAP implementation and helped establish a well-organized AP team before moving into general ledger accounting. I also support internal and external audits and provide accounting analysis and reporting to support decision-making.

My background combines accounting and finance education with oil and gas accounting, SAP key-user training, advanced Excel, leadership, communication, and practical problem-solving.
