Maneo Sekata

I am a research and communications professional with over six years of practical experience in research, writing, documentation, community engagement, and project support. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Heritage Studies and Philosophy and a Diploma in Mass Communication.

My experience includes conducting interviews, collecting and organising information, preparing reports and publications, researching historical records, and communicating findings to different audiences. I am the author of a 34-page Sesotho biography of Paramount Chief Lerotholi Letsie, published in 2023. I have also researched and documented more than 20 heritage sites and interviewed over 20 community members to collect historical information and local knowledge.

I have experience supporting community projects and delivering two heritage conservation workshops that trained 22 participants. These activities have strengthened my research, writing, communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.

I am comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Google Earth, and digital research tools. I am interested in remote opportunities in research assistance, content writing, communications, documentation, virtual assistance, data collection, and project support.

I am a committed and adaptable professional who enjoys learning new skills, working with different people, and helping organisations organise information, communicate clearly, and achieve their goals. I am open to remote opportunities with organisations around the world.
