I’m a senior mainframe developer with 14+ years of experience in Application development, Testing, and Application +1 maintenance and support of Banking and Financial projects. I take projects from initial requirements and solution designing through successful implementation in Agile frameworks, and I’m hands-on with development, debugging, testing, and production support.
In my current role as Programmer Advisory (Full-Time) and previously as Senior Mainframe Developer (contractor), I managed full SDLC delivery, troubleshot production incidents/tickets, and implemented fixes based on severity and priority. I also support modern source code management and promotion (Bitbucket, Git, GitHub Copilot, Visual Studio, and Jenkins) while continually improving quality through reviews, automation (REXX), and performance tuning of COBOL/DB programs.

Serve as Programmer Advisory in Application Development and Support for the bank’s Online Loans system within the commercial lending portfolio. Managed full SDLC delivery, testing/debugging, Agile implementations, and production incident troubleshooting.
Worked as a Senior Mainframe Developer supporting production applications for the bank’s lending platforms, including requirements analysis through testing and implementation. Resolved production incidents under SLA constraints and supported source code management and promotion across environments.
Served as Senior Mainframe Developer in the L3 production support team for personal lending credit origination and adjudication, as well as loans and mortgage platforms. Resolved production down situations and incidents by analyzing root cause, implementing fixes, and supporting maintenance releases.
Led application team responsibilities for mainframe application development and testing in an Agile environment, including technical design and defect-free code delivery. Set up test environments, created test cases, reviewed team deliverables, and contributed to continuous improvement by automating regression and data cleanup tasks.
Developed corporate card processing applications from scratch, contributing to architecture, design, coding, and testing deliverables using SDLC in both Waterfall and Agile. Performed deployment/support activities and supported BAU handover while tuning COBOL/DB programs for improved execution time.
