Maitlyn Lang
@maitlynlang
I design and deliver public spaces, exhibitions, and fabricated environments from concept to installation.
What I'm looking for
I've designed, fabricated, and installed more than 10 public-space projects at CultureHouse, taking work from concept through impact reporting.
I led design teams, interns, and volunteers; collaborated with Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville agencies; and worked with contractors to resolve fabrication and construction challenges safely and on schedule.
I managed more than $500K in project budgets, contracts, bids, material purchases, schedules, deliverables, and expenses using Monday.com and Harvest. I also wrote project documentation and impact reports for funders, municipal partners, and stakeholders.
At the Peabody Essex Museum, I support exhibition production through artwork inventory coordination, Vectorworks plans and elevations, and hands-on rigging, painting, and casework cataloging. My Design Engineering master's work also includes developing and documenting a plastic-recycling process from 3D prints to recycled plastic sheets.
