I provide remote consulting through TexThiel Consulting for textile technology, with a focus on fiber composites, man-made cellulosic fibers, and artificial leather.
At Kelheim Fibres, I led viscose-fiber development projects from customer inquiry through series production, including hygiene, wipes, textiles, functionalization, special fibers, alternative pulps, processes, and life-cycle assessments.
I've also developed carbon and glass fabrics at SGL Carbon and artificial leather at Continental for automotive and aerospace applications, covering product development, scale-up, specifications, cost calculations, funding applications, patents, and customer projects.
