What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a GIS/remote-sensing role where I can build accurate spatial analytics and automated workflows—using GEE/Sentinel data and web GIS products—while collaborating with teams that value quality, problem-solving, and real-world impact.

I’m a GIS/Remote Sensing engineer with 5 years of experience turning complex spatial data into actionable intelligence through spatial data analysis, database management, and reliable geoprocessing workflows.

In my most recent role as a Geospatial Developer (remote), I’ve built end-to-end crop classification and crop-health monitoring using Google Earth Engine (GEE) with multi-temporal satellite datasets and supervised learning. I translate remote-sensing signals into real decisions by developing JavaScript workflows for preprocessing, spectral indices (NDVI/NDRE/NDWI/SAVI), phenological trends, and land cover/land use change detection.

I also strengthen geospatial results through rigorous R&D: I developed general flood identification workflows using radar and optical satellite data with thresholding, water indices, and time-series change detection. Previously, as a Geospatial Engineer / R&D Expert, I processed Sentinel imagery with ESA SNAP, Agisoft Metashape, and Web ODM—handling radiometric/atmospheric corrections, lens distortion correction, and NDVI—then integrated multi-source optical, radar, and LiDAR data to improve accuracy for classification and yield estimation.

Beyond remote sensing, I build spatial products users can interact with. I’ve developed web mapping solutions and interactive dashboards using GeoServer and PostGIS (including OGC-compliant WMS/WFS/WMTS), designed RESTful APIs for geospatial dataset delivery, and implemented GIS web apps with Python-based analysis (GeoPandas/Shapely/Fiona/PyProj) and front-end mapping (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Leaflet). Earlier experience also strengthened my systems thinking through GIS leadership in network architecture (GPON) and BIM+GIS integration with Autodesk Revit, plus ongoing freelance GIS/RS work for publishing, data cleaning, and spatial planning projects.
