At Climate Service Center Germany (GERICS), I lead climate and water-risk modelling that combines environmental simulations, hydrological outputs, geospatial data, and machine learning to support resilience and adaptation decisions.
I develop climate-impact models, including heat-risk prediction using insurance data and EURO-CORDEX predictors. I also validate land-surface-temperature simulations against satellite-derived products, assessing model skill, bias, RMSE, and uncertainty across urban environments.
At the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), I integrated hydrologic, climate, geospatial, machine-learning, and Earth-observation data for flood-risk and environmental-assessment studies. I built reproducible spatial-data pipelines and developed GIS analysis functions, web processing services, and tools for monitoring and decision support.
My doctoral research at Wageningen University and LIST focused on uncertainty in urban water systems, including Monte Carlo simulation and sensitivity analysis. I bring together civil engineering, climate science, and geospatial technologies to turn environmental data into evidence for decisions.
