At Ethiopian Center for Development, I work as a Project/Communication Officer, maintaining communication with stakeholders and organizing meetings among team members. I also handle social media and develop communication strategies.
At Center for Justice, I provided legal aid to women prisoners and detainees, including legal advice, rights-based assistance, and support for people affected by gender-based violence and wrongful detention. I provided legal aid to 1,500 women prisoners during my internship.
I hold an LL.B. from Jimma University. My legal work included drafting and reviewing court documents, researching statutory provisions and case law, and helping clients understand their rights.
