What I'm looking for

I’m looking for opportunities to grow into a Network Security Engineer, Application Security Engineer, Penetration Tester, or Forensics Analyst role—contributing to secure-by-design initiatives while advancing toward being a security subject-matter expert.

I’m known for strong analytical problem-solving, technical curiosity, clear documentation, and understanding how security fits into organizational strategy and operations. I also collaborate effectively with technical teams to turn security needs into practical outcomes.

I’m currently an IT Help Desk Technician, where I provide multi-channel technical support and troubleshoot authentication failures, VPN connectivity issues, and access control problems. I monitor system performance, escalate potential security risks, and support incident response workflows.

Previously, I worked as a Networking Support Specialist Intern, using Wireshark to find misconfigurations and spotting issues that could create security risks. I supported secure workflows by managing access controls, updating permissions, patching, checking browser behavior, and using MySQL to watch for unusual patterns.

My hands-on work includes building and testing a Raspberry Pi laptop security project by practicing enumeration and checking open ports with tools like Nmap, Wireshark, and Burp Suite (beginner). I’m seeking roles where I can contribute to secure-by-design initiatives while advancing toward subject-matter expertise in security leadership.
