What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can study AMR in environmental or waterborne pathogens using molecular lab methods, and communicate findings to support public-health prevention—while growing through research, training, and impact-driven collaboration.

I’m a Biotechnology and Applied Microbiology researcher specializing in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in environmental and waterborne pathogens. In my MPhil, I investigated antibiotic-resistant microbes in drinking water, using PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA extraction, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing to profile resistance mechanisms with clear public-health implications.

I also bring a strong bridge between science and communication. I was awarded the Prime Minister's Laptop Scheme (merit-based), led with a publication in Trends in Biotechnology and Plant Sciences, and worked on waterborne disease prevention insights for policy development. Alongside research, I’ve taught biology and microbiology and write as a freelancer—so I’m comfortable turning complex results into structured, client-ready outputs.
