LUKHOLO SIDUNA
@lukholosiduna
Motivated legal assistant and LLB graduate skilled in legal research, drafting, and human-rights policy support.
What I'm looking for
I’m a highly motivated LLB graduate with a strong foundation in legal research, human rights, and social justice. I bring proven experience in legal support, policy development, and high-level project coordination in an academic and public-interest environment, with a clear commitment to delivering high-quality administrative and legal assistance.
As a Legal Assistant at the Centre for Social Justice, I conduct in-depth legal research on constitutional, social justice, and human rights matters. I draft policy briefs, memorandums of understanding (MOUs), and legal submissions, support legal opinions and research memoranda, and contribute to evidence-based advocacy and policy recommendations. I also manage executive calendars, coordinate appointments and high-level meetings, and prepare agendas, reports, briefing notes, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
I strengthen my work through stakeholder engagement, compliance, and coordination. I liaise with government officials, legal professionals, academics, and civil society organisations; respond professionally to stakeholder and client inquiries; and facilitate coordination between internal teams and external partners. I also record accurate minutes, maintain confidential records, ensure compliance with institutional policies and legal standards, and support day-to-day document control, version tracking, and audit-ready filing systems.
Beyond this role, I’ve conducted field research, surveys, and interviews through CESAR Fieldworker work, compiling findings into structured reports and presentations and applying ethical research standards. I also served as a Media and Publicity Officer with Black Lawyers Association (UWC), supporting legal education programmes through communication, social media management, and event coordination. I’m seeking to secure a Candidate Attorney position or a legal role within a dynamic organisation where I can contribute to impactful social justice initiatives.
