At Guider AI and Thrive, I lead technical direction for a mentoring squad and own customer-facing platform systems end-to-end. I built the platform’s configurable matching engine, a materialised read-model service, and migration tooling to move customers from the legacy Guider platform to Thrive’s native mentoring solution.

I’ve strengthened delivery across the engineering organisation by introducing shared TypeScript build tooling used by 40+ projects, leading a 1,500+ file CommonJS-to-ESM migration, and maintaining CI/CD for six applications. I also established structured logging standards across 60+ services and libraries, built full-stack preview environments for pull requests, and proactively improved safeguards for sensitive customer data.

Earlier at Guider AI, Smartnumbers, and TrainTime GmbH, I built React, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Java, and SQL products spanning mentoring, telephony, fraud prevention, fitness, video calling, SSO, and analytics. I enjoy prototyping quickly with real users, then hardening the right solution for scale.

My British Army background shaped how I lead teams, manage risk, and deliver reliably in demanding environments. I also build practical tools independently, including a local Node/TypeScript automation daemon for tracking concurrent AI coding work and releases.
