I've built and productionized deep learning models at IXICO for 3D brain imaging, wearable sensors, and clinical applications, taking models from training and evaluation through Docker-based deployment.
My work includes an Alzheimer's disease progression microservice combining 3D MRI, PET, and clinical features, as well as a PyTorch 3D U-Net for thalamic tissue segmentation. I also developed TensorFlow and CNN pipelines for gait and sleep analysis from accelerometry data, with peer-reviewed publications in Sensors and other research venues.
Before IXICO, I led multimodal clinical-data analysis at Newcastle University, supervised PhD students, and secured research funding for neurodegeneration studies. I bring a software engineering foundation across Python, REST APIs, microservices, Azure, and full-stack components to scalable machine learning systems.
