Luis Longas
@luislongas
I design and validate rocket propulsion, combustion, and aerospace hardware systems.
What I'm looking for
I've designed, assembled, and experimentally validated axial-stage combustors and hydrogen-fueled testing platforms at the University of Central Florida, alongside CFD studies of supersonic and hypersonic aerospace configurations.
My work spans solid and hybrid rocket systems, gas-turbine combustors, mechanical design, CAD, FEA, thermal analysis, additive manufacturing, and hardware integration. I've also led aerospace research projects, developed efficient electric vehicles, and helped design and build mechanical ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic.
