Lucky Ooyi

As a freelancer, I translated articles and documents between English and Swahili, labeled and transcribed data, and proofread text for grammar and awkward phrasing.

I know standard Swahili as well as everyday speech, including Sheng, and draw on my knowledge of Kenyan and East African culture, idioms, and expressions. I’ve also rated and compared AI responses for accuracy, tone, and natural wording, and written Swahili prompts and sample answers.

As a BOM teacher, I spoke Swahili and English with students every day and wrote clear, simple reports. I’m interested in using these language skills in AI training work, including annotation and response rating.
