I'm completing a 160-hour Medical Assistant Externship at Hartford HealthCare Urgent Care, supporting patient intake, registration, rooming, and vital-sign documentation.

I use EHR/Epic for patient documentation and clinical workflows, verify patient identification and insurance information, and help prepare organized examination rooms. I've also gained exposure to laboratory testing, EKG procedures, scheduling, and front-desk responsibilities in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Before my clinical training, I provided six years of dependable private-family caregiving, managing daily routines, communicating with parents, and responding calmly to unexpected situations.

I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, CPR certified through the American Heart Association, and bring patient communication, organization, and respect for HIPAA and patient privacy to clinical care.
