Aspiring mechanical engineer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated mechanical engineering student at the University of Southern Maine, set to graduate in December 2024. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in engineering principles, particularly in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics. I have successfully designed and built a model rocket capable of reaching 5,000 feet and deployed a CubeSat to collect atmospheric data, showcasing my ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges.
In my role as an Engineering Intern at Bath Iron Works, I completed a Calibration and Measurement Requirement Summary for various systems, enhancing process efficiency through a programmed Excel spreadsheet. Additionally, I led a waste management project that significantly improved in-yard productivity. My previous experience as an Event Manager and Server has honed my customer service skills, allowing me to thrive in high-pressure environments while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
