Lucas Schuck

I’m a DevOps Engineer who designs and deploys cloud-native infrastructure on AWS with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. I build fully automated CI/CD pipelines and containerized services so releases are repeatable, secure, and low-friction.

In my “User DevOps” project, I provisioned end-to-end AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, RDS PostgreSQL, IAM, SSM, S3, DynamoDB) with remote state management for team-safe deployments. I automated zero-touch delivery using GitHub Actions to build Docker images, push to Docker Hub, and apply Terraform changes on every push to main.

I also focus heavily on monitoring and observability. I set up Prometheus scraping (including Spring Actuator metrics via Micrometer) and created Grafana dashboards for JVM memory, CPU usage, HTTP request rates, and active DB connections in real time.

I value reliability, automation, and scalable systems, and I build security in from day one—zero hard-coded secrets, least-privilege IAM, and secure VPC network segmentation. I’m now seeking an international role where I can grow my DevOps engineering skills in a collaborative environment.
