What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote-first role as a Junior Java Developer, focused on API-driven products—ideally in fintech/open finance ecosystems—where I can build secure REST services, learn fast, and contribute to production-quality delivery.

I’m a backend developer with hands-on experience building production-grade Java applications. I independently designed and deployed a full-stack event management platform (Tia Cereja) end-to-end, from REST API design to production-like infrastructure.

My work centers on secure, API-driven systems: I implemented JWT authentication with Spring Security and role-based access control (ROLE_ADMIN and ROLE_USER), along with REST endpoints containing complex business rules like pricing calculations, date validation, event size classification, and advanced filtering.

I build with testability and operations in mind—business logic is decoupled for JUnit5 and Mockito coverage, and I orchestrated services using Docker Compose (Nginx reverse proxy, Spring Boot, MariaDB) on a 3-VM Alpine Linux setup with SSH hardening. I’m now seeking a first opportunity as a Junior Java Developer in a remote-first team, especially for API-driven products or fintech/open finance ecosystems.
