What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level editorial or publishing role where I can apply meticulous editing, strong writing, and organized research to improve manuscripts, reviews, and content—and grow with a collaborative team.

I’m a recent Creative Writing major with an English minor, focused on information access and building a strong foundation in research, organization, and clear communication. I bring a detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to making written work precise, engaging, and easy to follow.

In my publishing experience, I’ve supported manuscript quality by editing grammar and plot issues and contributing to team meetings at Future House Publishing. I also submitted structured reviews for manuscripts, working carefully to improve clarity and story flow.

As an Editorial Intern at Pine Reads Review, I’ve expanded my content skills by editing blog posts and book reviews and writing original blog posts on literary subjects. I enjoy turning thoughtful research into well-organized, readable writing that respects the author’s voice.

Beyond publishing, I’ve volunteered at the Sahuarita Public Library by assisting with children’s programming and helping with shelving and book organization. I’m especially motivated by roles where I can combine strong communication, careful editing, and reliable organization to support readers and creators.
