I’m a Programmer Analyst building reliable backend features that improve real operational outcomes. At Sagicor Group Jamaica Ltd., I’ve focused on shipping practical improvements while maintaining data consistency and trustworthy processing across services.

In my current role, I developed a virtual onboarding feature set that reduced average account opening time by ~40% and reduced team member error by ~20%. I also built a document upload API using background services with a transactional outbox pattern to ensure reliable event processing and maintain data consistency between services.

I strengthen every release with secure access patterns and clear integration boundaries. I implemented authentication and authorization using Okta with a .NET backend and backend-for-frontend via Next.js, helping ensure secure workflows end-to-end.

Before this, I completed a Java-focused Software Engineer Intern program at Grid Dynamics, working with Spring Boot, Maven, Hibernate, Spring Security, and unit testing with JUnit. Earlier, I supported students as an Adjunct Lab Assistant and contributed to a Capstone Modular Network Intrusion Detection System by researching data, creating technical documentation, and collaborating on model development; I’m also a Google Cloud Platform – Cloud Digital Leader (Exp: December 2026).
