What I'm looking for

I’m now seeking a transition into a public health role, combining clinical IPC knowledge and SHERQ leadership to improve community health outcomes, strengthen compliance, and deliver measurable safety and prevention impact.

I’m an experienced Registered Nurse and Midwife, focused on Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), emergency care, perioperative nursing, and clinical leadership. I’ve led infection prevention strategies, supported emergency and critical care needs, and strengthened safe, compliant practices across diverse hospital settings.

In my current and recent IPC leadership, I develop and coordinate annual IPC roadmaps and training programs, manage IPC risk registers, and oversee surveillance for notifiable diseases (including TB, Hepatitis A/B/C, and COVID-19). I’ve also managed outbreaks and reduced healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) by implementing hospital-specific IPC protocols, toolkits, and coaching for staff competency.

I’m accountable for SHERQ functions—driving compliance with OHS and DOH standards through incident investigations, root cause analysis, audits, and corrective action follow-through. I collaborate closely with stakeholders across head office, Department of Health, HR business partners, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards and ensure accurate reporting and governance.

Alongside IPC and SHERQ leadership, my nursing background spans perioperative recovery, theatre support, rehabilitation/disability care, and paediatric oncology/hematology experience. Now, I’m seeking to transition into a public health role to combine clinical knowledge and SHERQ leadership to improve community health outcomes.
