At VISSERSHOK PRIMARY SCHOOL, I teach Grade 3 across Mathematics, Home Language, English First Additional Language and Life Skills, with lessons aligned to CAPS. I adapt learning programmes for diverse needs and provide targeted support to learners experiencing academic barriers.
As Grade Head since 2018, I coordinate Grade 3 planning, curriculum implementation and assessment, and support colleagues through collaborative planning and moderation. I also contribute to the School Management Team’s planning and decision-making.
During a six-month appointment as Acting Departmental Head, I supported Foundation Phase teachers and curriculum oversight, monitored academic performance and coordinated learner interventions. My Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching was completed Cum Laude.
