What I'm looking for

I'm looking to develop, evaluate, and translate evidence-based psychological interventions addressing intimate partner violence, minority stress, and social support.

I'm developing and evaluating the SAFO Program at the Federal University of São Carlos: an eight-session online psychoeducational intervention for lesbian survivors of intimate partner violence.

My PhD research uses a four-stage mixed-methods design to examine feasibility, acceptability, clinical significance, protocol fidelity, implementability, and facilitator social skills. Grounded in Heise's bioecological model, the program addresses IPV and help-seeking, minority stress, emotion identification, and support networks.

During my MSc, I investigated intimate partner violence and perceived social support among 1,057 Brazilian lesbian women using Confirmatory Latent Class Analysis and Pearson correlation. This work produced two peer-reviewed publications, with two additional manuscripts under review.

I've also researched gender stereotypes and lesbophobia using the Functional Acquisition Speed Test and contributed to peer-reviewed work on violence against women, student distress, disability, and LGBTQ+ schooling trajectories.
