What I'm looking for

I want to contribute to a mission-driven organisation by supporting principled legal and policy work—conducting research, strengthening compliance, and drafting agreements—so rural and underserved communities benefit from access to justice and poverty-reducing outcomes.

I’m a motivated final-year law student with hands-on experience in legal research, policy development, compliance, contract drafting and review, and governance advisory. I’m passionate about the rule of law, institutional development, and access to justice for underserved communities, and I’ve built experience working within structured organisational environments through attachments at KIPPRA, Justice Pamoja, AIESEC, and Daystar Legal Aid Society.

Right now, I’m serving as a Legal Intern at Justice Pamoja, where I conduct legal research, draft legal correspondence, organise confidential case and client files, and support community justice initiatives. Previously at KIPPRA, I drafted compliance policies and operational manuals and reviewed MoUs and NDAs to support institutional decision-making. I also acted as a Legal Advisor for AIESEC, drafting partnership and accountability agreements, updating governance documentation to reflect regulatory requirements, and assessing legal and reputational risks for programme implementation.
