What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a robotics internship or Werkstudent role in Germany, where I can apply my ROS 2 Nav2 navigation-stack work (SLAM, costmaps, TF) to real-world autonomous systems and keep growing as an engineer.

I’m an Interdisciplinary Engineering Master’s student transitioning from mechanical engineering into robotics and autonomous systems. I focus on building and debugging autonomous navigation stacks using ROS 2, including SLAM and occupancy-grid mapping with ROS 2 Nav2.

I built an autonomous mobile robot for structured indoor environments, working through map-distortion debugging and door/traffic-light perception, then moving into multi-level navigation and autonomous parking. I also developed an autonomous vacuum robot simulation with ~95% area coverage in Gazebo/RViz and a YOLOv3-based perception pipeline.

I’m driven by hands-on problem-solving—I’d rather debug a noisy costmap for hours than skip past understanding why it’s failing. I’m actively seeking a robotics internship or Werkstudent role in Germany to apply this foundation to real-world autonomous systems while continuing to grow as an engineer.
