At Fraunhofer IOSB, I engineered a real-time stereo–LiDAR depth-estimation pipeline for an autonomous Liebherr excavator, reducing errors by over 50% in low-texture and unstructured terrain. I also extended OpenCV’s stereo-matching pipeline with LiDAR depth information and calibrated and synchronized five sensors for multimodal perception on the physical platform.
At Hochschule Schmalkalden, I developed an EKF-based sensor-fusion pipeline combining GNSS, IMU, and wheel odometry, achieving localization accuracy within 0.35 m. I’m currently contributing to the open-source OpenAMRobot platform, working on simulation, multi-camera calibration, time synchronization, and EKF-based sensor fusion.
