Lauren Swan
@laurenswan
Publications and program operations leader specializing in healthcare content, workflow optimization, and stakeholder-driven delivery.
What I'm looking for
I lead planning, coordination, and implementation of complex scientific and technical publication programs, building project timelines, tracking milestones, and managing deliverables to ensure program objectives are met. At MITRE, I partner with researchers, project teams, contractors, and stakeholders, creating tracking systems, workflow documentation, dashboards, and reporting tools that support decision-making and continuous improvement. I also leverage AI-enabled tools and process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance stakeholder experience.
Previously, I served as a Senior Technical Editor, coordinating multi-stakeholder content development with structured review cycles and producing training materials and best-practice resources to drive user adoption and operational consistency. Earlier roles included Scientific Editor at United States Pharmacopeia and Publishing Associate at the American College of Cardiology, where I facilitated publishing standards, workflow improvements, staff training, and performance metrics analysis to identify opportunities for better outcomes; I began my editorial career as a Content Editor working extensively in digital publishing environments using XML and HTML. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH), expected Summer 2026.
