What I'm looking for

I’m looking to apply my medical coding, billing, claims processing, and revenue cycle support experience in a role focused on accurate documentation, compliant reimbursement, and HIPAA-protected patient information.

I’ve coded patient encounters for University of MD Faculty Physicians’ Family Medicine practice, applying CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes from provider documentation. I also verified code support and collaborated with providers to improve documentation clarity for compliant billing and reimbursement.

My experience includes medical billing at Lifeline, where I processed insurance claims, monitored patient accounts, investigated discrepancies, and supported timely reimbursement.

At Simply HIM and Saint Francis Hospital, I coded emergency department and ancillary records using Epic and 3M Encoder while protecting confidential patient information. I also managed medical-records workflows including scanning, indexing, and electronic documentation.

I bring hands-on knowledge of Epic, Optum, claims processing, denial resolution, insurance verification, HIPAA compliance, and revenue cycle support. I’m a Certified Professional Coder–Apprentice (CPC-A).
