At Suelo Ambiente y Obras S.A.S., I coordinated the hazard and risk component of the Envigado Land Use Plan update. I led the multidisciplinary team and developed basic and detailed studies of landslides, floods, and debris flows, with the complete study delivered to the municipal government.
I built the GIS for the risk component in ArcGIS Pro, including geodatabase structuring, topological control, metadata, and spatial analysis. I used Python and generative AI tools to automate processes and support analysis scripts.
At Integral Ingenieros Consultores, I worked on hydrological studies, GIS, and mass-movement hazard assessment for environmental and infrastructure studies. My work included structuring geodatabases under ANLA guidelines, producing cartography for DAA and EIA studies, and assessing landslide and debris-flow hazards.
At Universidad de Medellín, I’ve taught Geographic Information Systems and Graphic Expression as an adjunct undergraduate instructor. I’m a PhD candidate in Engineering, with my dissertation in progress, and have authored or co-authored articles in indexed international journals and conference papers.
