What I'm looking for

I’m looking to contribute to a healthcare or wellness team where I can apply evidence-based nutrition to provide personalized dietary interventions and support community-based nutrition programs, while continuing specialization in clinical nutrition and public health.

I am an enthusiastic, detail-oriented nutrition and dietetics graduate with a strong academic foundation in clinical nutrition, public health, and food science. I’m driven by evidence-based practice to help people achieve optimal health through personalized dietary interventions.

Through my community practicum in Mosoriot, Uasin Gishu (May–August 2023), I supported public health education on hygiene and sanitation, as well as communicable and non-communicable diseases. I collaborated with healthcare professionals to help develop nutrition programs and deliver health talks, vaccination, and supplementation for children under 5.

My clinical attachments strengthened my ability to translate assessment into action. At Kenyatta National Hospital (May–August 2022), I analyzed dietary habits to tailor nutrition plans, provided nutrition counselling, supported monitoring and evaluation of patient progress, and participated in ward rounds.

I also gained patient-facing experience at Moi Referral Hospital, Eldoret (May–August 2020), where I documented patient progress and dietary adherence across wards and provided nutritional education to patients and caregivers on post-discharge dietary management.
