I’m a Certified Medical Coder with approximately four years of hands-on experience, passionate about ensuring accurate and efficient healthcare billing processes. I focus on meticulously analyzing patient records and documentation to uncover the details that make billing seamless.

In my recent role as a Senior Officer, I code and abstract patient information using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS, while ensuring compliance with established coding guidelines, third-party reimbursement policies, regulations, and accreditation guidelines. I’m committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in medical coding.

Previously, as a Junior Medical Coder, I specialized in accurate and efficient coding using ICD-10 and HCC coding classification systems. My analytical mindset helped me dissect complex medical records and manage a variety of complex technical assignments across a flexible 8-hour shift schedule, including overtime and weekends.

I also hold CCS certification (AHIMA) and completed Coursera training such as Technical Support Fundamentals, Introduction to Public Speaking, and Introduction to Computers and Office Productivity Software. I bring strong communication, teamwork, and Microsoft Office skills, along with a solid foundation in anatomical/medical terminology and HIPPA/HIPAA rules and regulations.
