Kyle Nicholas

I'm an audit and accounting professional with about six years in public accounting. I've worked at KPMG and, most recently, as an Audit Senior Associate at Sensiba LLP. Most of my work has been financial statement audits for manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, and employee benefit plan clients.

At Sensiba, I led audits from planning through completion for clients such as Energy Solutions, Digital Dynamics, and Meyer Cookware. I kept engagements on schedule, ran client requests and open items, and was a main point of contact for client management. I also reviewed workpapers and coached junior staff, which I enjoy as much as the technical side.

At KPMG, I built my foundation in risk assessment, internal controls testing, substantive testing, and audit documentation. My clients there included Community Coffee, International-Matex Tank Terminals, Laitram, and Bollinger Shipyards.

I'm also interested in work where my client-facing and people skills matter, such as accounting and finance recruiting and am open to project management positions where I can utilize my ability to manage multiple projects at once.
