What I'm looking for

I'm looking to contribute field, diving, GIS, and ecological data-analysis skills to coral reef ecology, fisheries monitoring, marine conservation, and evidence-based management of the Mesoamerican Reef.

I'm completing a BSc in Marine Biology at the University of Belize while contributing field and data work across Belize's coral reefs, fisheries, mangroves, seagrass, and coastal communities.

At Wildlife Conservation Society's Belize Program, I managed and quality-controlled marine conservation datasets in MERMAID and supported coral bleaching and disease data collection. I've also conducted fish spawning aggregation surveys with TIDE, supported mangrove and seagrass research, and collected stakeholder data for Belize's Sustainable Ocean Plan.

My research includes environmental sampling and microplastics analysis for work published in Marine Pollution Bulletin, as well as a public R workflow for Caribbean spiny lobster morphometrics.

As a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver with 51 logged dives, including 41 research-focused dives, I bring underwater survey, coral health monitoring, fisheries monitoring, GIS, R analysis, and structured data-management skills to long-term ecological monitoring and evidence-based management of the Mesoamerican Reef.
