I’m a backend-focused software engineer who enjoys turning complex data and workflows into reliable, fast systems. My work centers on distributed-service design, performance optimization, and production-grade data pipelines.

As a Graduate Assistant/Data Engineer, I built ETL pipelines with Python and SQL to process waste audit data, cutting reporting time from 3–4 hours per cycle to under an hour. I also built Power BI dashboards to highlight waste and cross-contamination trends, supporting targeted operational outreach for outcomes impacting 40K+ users.

In my software engineering roles, I architected and optimized backend services for a B2B booking platform using C#/.NET and SQL. By improving asynchronous processing and SQL performance, I reduced backend response times from 250–300ms to under 150ms, and integrated REST APIs to strengthen data consistency and transactional reliability during peak traffic.

I also bring a systems-and-automation mindset through projects like a high-dimensional vector retrieval system using FAISS (300ms to under 100ms) and an LLM-driven automated code review workflow with FastAPI and OpenAI APIs across 100+ PRs. I’m motivated by measurable impact, clean integrations, and monitoring that keeps services dependable in real-world conditions.
