At Elasticsearch, Inc., I led global general ledger accounting and the monthly close as the company grew from approximately $200M to $1.4B in annual revenue. I redesigned the global close process, reducing close time from 14 days to 3.
After the IPO, I directed the development and documentation of SOX controls and process narratives, and served as the primary contact for internal and external audit queries. I also led payroll accounting across 34 countries and onboarding processes for 10 newly added countries.
I supported four acquisitions at Elastic, overseeing accounting integration for newly acquired entities. I also managed ASC 842 lease schedules across 14 offices and co-working spaces, and oversaw review of more than 100 account reconciliations across 30 countries.
Earlier, as Controller at Rocky Mountain Offender Management Systems, LLC, I directed full-cycle accounting for three related companies and produced GAAP-compliant financial statements for ownership and executive decision-making.
