At Delta India, I develop data pipelines for Allianz’s insurance analytics platform, which analyzes policy lifecycles, customer behavior, claims, and premium collections. I ingest data from Oracle and MySQL into HDFS using Sqoop.
I develop Spark jobs in Scala for cleansing and standardization, and maintain layered Hive tables in ORC. I also calculate insurance KPIs such as policy renewal risk, claim frequency and severity, and customer segmentation.
Previously, I worked as part of the Novartis AG project team, supporting a pharma analytics platform. I assisted with incremental data loads, Hive tables and transformations, and datasets for drug demand, prescription trends, and inventory tracking.
