Konstantinos Malavazos

I’m a Backend Software Engineer with experience in .NET microservices, distributed messaging, and data engineering. At Kaizen Gaming, I designed and delivered regulatory reporting services for Betano, building and operating event-driven backend microservices with SQL Server, RabbitMQ, and Kafka. I also engineered data processing pipelines in Azure Databricks (PySpark) to generate and validate regulatory datasets, while adopting AI-assisted development to improve code quality and delivery speed.

Earlier in my career, I transitioned from FPGA/ASIC engineering into software, and that system-level thinking still guides how I design reliable services. At Nokia, I developed a Route Module for a next-gen ASIC platform and maintained FPGA-based products, and at Integrated Systems Development S.A. I designed and validated ASIC and FPGA systems using VHDL and Verilog. I’m excited to bring that engineering rigor to backend platforms where scalability, correctness, and clean delivery matter.
