What I'm looking for

I want to join the AWS Cloud Support team to go deeper with AWS engineers, understand services at the inside level, and help real customers solve real problems at scale with security-first root-cause troubleshooting.

I’m an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Python developer based in South Africa, with hands-on production experience deploying and operating cloud systems on AWS. I’m genuinely curious about how AWS services work, and I’m passionate about customer-facing technical support that helps people get the most out of AWS.

I’ve shipped projects end-to-end on AWS—from serverless REST APIs to automated security auditing tools—and I value the “real customer” mindset. When troubleshooting, I don’t guess: I trace issues like Lambda permission errors and misconfigured IAM policies through structured CloudWatch logs to root cause, then document resolutions so they can be reused.

Right now, I’m completing the MWR CyberSec Virtual Internship to build practical skills in web application security, penetration testing, and the OWASP Top 10. That security mindset, combined with my AWS support-style debugging, is exactly what I want to bring to the AWS Cloud Support team as a Cloud Support Builder—going deeper with AWS engineers and solving real problems at scale.
