What I'm looking for

I want to learn from an experienced BIM manager and understand how a large organisation sets its BIM policies and strategies. My long-term goal is to become a BIM Manager.

At Vector Design, I developed the building services model for White City Phases 4 & 5 from early design to construction issue. The work covered more than 60 apartment types, risers, the roof plant room, sprinklers, lighting and power.

I federated architectural, structural and MEP models in Navisworks Manage and Revizto, resolving more than 500 clashes with engineers involved when services could not simply be rerouted. I also chaired internal BIM coordination workshops and supported external meetings, tracking minutes and actions through to closure.

I check model information against project requirements, the BIM Execution Plan and ISO 19650 before issue, and have worked with common data environments including Asite, Viewpoint and Autodesk BIM 360. I wrote a Dynamo routine to automate model exports and built Revit families; I’m now looking to learn how a large organisation develops its BIM policies and strategies, with the long-term goal of becoming a BIM Manager.
