I am a final-year Computer Systems student at Riga Technical University with a background in marine engineering and industrial operations.

Before transitioning into software development, I worked as a machine cadet at sea and later as a stevedore at Liepaja Bulk Terminal. This experience gave me a strong engineering mindset, practical problem-solving skills, and a systems-oriented way of thinking.

For the past 5 years, I have been focused on programming, primarily in C and low-level Linux development. My main interests include operating systems internals, process management, networking, performance optimization, and systems-level architecture.

Currently, I am developing Linux-based systems projects, including a process monitoring tool and TCP networking software, while expanding my knowledge in concurrent programming, kernel development, and network systems.

I am actively seeking internship and junior opportunities in systems programming, Linux development, backend infrastructure, or networking.
