What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level role where I can apply field inventory, species identification, and practical timber operations experience. I want to learn on the job, work in rural/remote landscapes, and support community or conservation outcomes.

I’m a Recent Forest Resource Conservation and Management graduate from UDS, with practical internship experience in a timber and plywood manufacturing company. My coursework includes Forest mensuration and inventory, Agroforestry systems, Forest policy and governance, Wildlife and habitat management, GIS and remote sensing basics, and the EUDR and REDD+ framework.

During my internship as an Intern – Timber Processing and Log Yard Operations at ABTS Timber and Plywood Manufacturer in Berekum, I supported log yard operations like species identification, log scaling, and grade sorting. I also learned the plywood production process from log peeling to finishing, shadowed quality control checks, gained practical understanding of wood waste management, and saw how raw material moves from forest to factory. I’m comfortable in rural field settings, ready to learn, and willing to live and work in remote landscapes.
