What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can plan and coordinate recreation and community programs, manage communications and social media, supervise teams, and support budgets and grant opportunities—while working closely with partners and Public Works.

I’m a recreation and community life professional with a Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Project Management and a strong background in recreation, culture, and tourism. I bring a practical, organized approach to planning, developing, coordinating, and evaluating municipal programs and services.

In my current role as Recreation and Community Life Technician for the Municipality of Saint-Jude (Quebec), I planned, organized, directed, and coordinated community recreation programs in line with approved priorities and budgets. I also manage and update the municipality’s Facebook page and community communications, coordinate activity schedules and facility maintenance planning, and monitor government funding opportunities and grant programs.

Previously, I served as a Recreation, Sports, Culture and Community Life Coordinator and managed municipal social media communications while coordinating schedules for facilities and working with Public Works on maintenance needs. Earlier, I supervised a summer day camp, and as a Recreation Counsellor / Support Worker, I planned and facilitated recreation and cultural activities for people with disabilities while managing crisis situations, conflict resolution, and participant safety.
