At Sasakawa Africa Association, I led solar-powered irrigation and lighting projects in rural Uganda and assessed mechanization technologies for value chains such as coffee. I also developed climate-smart, gender-sensitive agri-technology manuals and mechanization business models.
I designed a 2 kW solar-powered drip irrigation model and 500 W solar lighting systems, and contributed to the design and fabrication of a maize sheath remover and sheller. I also designed a tractor hire model in Karamoja under the WFP–AMS project.
At Makerere University, my master's research focused on a modified zeolite-iron oxide nanocomposite for removing pharmaceuticals from wastewater. I carried out materials laboratory experiments and analyzed samples using SEM, XRD, FTIR, BET, and ZETA sizer.
