I’m a Backend Software Engineer focused on building scalable APIs, secure fintech systems, and high-performance backend services. I design efficient backend architectures and integrate mission-critical services for distributed environments, with an emphasis on customer outcomes and system reliability.

At Bank 78 Microfinance Bank, I increased customer acquisition by over 10x by implementing NIN onboarding and BVN tier upgrade flows to remove friction from account creation and improve conversion. I also strengthened transaction security using step-up authentication with MFA authenticator, liveness checks, and email OTP to reduce fraud exposure on high-value transactions.

I’ve delivered business impact by integrating OkHi address verification to enable higher customer tier upgrades and increase user spending limits across the platform. I built and maintained backend services for onboarding, compliance workflows, and internal operations using C# and ASP.NET Core, including daily balance caching systems that improved reporting reliability and reduced repeated database load.

Beyond core services, I support data-driven operations with Metabase reporting for Sales, Compliance, AML, and People Operations, and automated financial statement generation using ClosedXML. I write unit tests with xUnit to reduce regressions, collaborate across frontend/mobile/design teams, and deploy with Azure Web Apps and CI/CD pipelines to keep production fintech systems dependable.
