Khauhelo Phatela

I’m Khauhelo Phatela, a junior project manager and planner with a strong built-environment background shaped early by hands-on exposure to civil works through my father’s company. I’m an extroverted, inquisitive, organised, and resilient graduate, now deepening my expertise through my BSc Construction Management (Hons) at the University of Pretoria.

Over 4 years of experience, I’ve supported projects across road maintenance, road marking, footbridges, and vented fords—handling tender preparation and submissions, coordinating programme planning, and managing professional communication with clients, suppliers, and the bank. I’ve also contributed to site supervision by managing staff, reporting owners, and capturing site progress for structured updates.

Currently, I’m engaged with project planning and scheduling on complex industrial projects requiring multi-disciplinary engineering solutions. I use tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and construction scheduling/management software to strengthen cost-conscious planning, contract support (FIDIC/JBCC), and reliable project administration from tender stage through execution.
